As an apprentice Carpenter I started my working life building Loft conversions. It was not too long before I was asked to work as a supervisor over seeing several teams. I was asked to build extensions as well as loft conversions, also renovating properties. This experience has served me well to move trades to become a party wall surveyor. With a huge experience of construction some [40 years] it is an obvious step to use the experience helping home owners get their party wall agreements right with a wealth of construction experience to fall back on.

The first thing that is required is if in fact a party wall agreement is required, this is not always the case. But without it there is potential of disputes, delays and even legal complications.
The help to issue correct notice to the adjoining home owner is important, the agreement must include correct details of the works required to make an award.
A party wall surveyor is required to act impartially throughout the process.
A party wall agreement is put in place not only to protect an adjoining property it is there to protect all home owners properties involved and offer peace of mind.
More so it reducers the risk of delays, expensive legal fees and most importantly the risk of a dispute with your neighbour.

Issue a party wall award - £450 includes one site visit.
Carryout a schedule of condition - £450 includes one site visit.
Subsequent visits, including travel time, will be charged at £165 per hour
